Our Commitment to Community

At US&S, community involvement isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are.

Founded by a retired U.S. Navy Commander, our company is built on the principles of service, stewardship, and family. We believe in using our success to uplift those around us, whether through volunteerism, charitable giving, or mentorship. Every year, we increase our support for community initiatives, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Serving people and communities in need is a fundamental part of our mission. We actively participate in large-scale volunteer events, donate to meaningful causes, and partner with organizations that align with our values.

For us, the equation is simple: The more successful we are, the more we give back to the community.

United Way Partnership

United Way has been a longtime partner who helps us extend our support and improve lives across our region.

  • In 2024, we raised nearly $11,900 as a part of our United Way Annual Giving Campaign themed the "Fantastic Voyage", allowing us to fund essential community services.
  • US&S regularly participates in the United Way Hands on Greenville initiative, an annual day of service. Last year, 2,500 community volunteers rolled up their sleeves to serve across Greenville County as a part of this program — resulting in an estimated economic impact of $320,000! We are proud to be a part of the positive difference this initiative has on our local community.
  • During the holiday season, we also participate in United Way’s Project Joy, adopting a family and providing gifts to brighten their celebration.

Serving Hope through Food

Food security is a cause close to our hearts, and our team actively participates in initiatives that provide meals to those in need.

  • 2024 Yam Jam – Our team helped clean and package over 50,000 pounds of sweet potatoes to feed local families.
  • #ProjectFeed5000 — 2024 was our first year as a sponsor of this annual Thanksgiving initiative, which has been helping to provide meals to the homeless and individuals facing food insecurity for over 11 years.

Promoting Literacy

Education and literacy are fundamental to strong communities. That’s why we launched the US&S Little Free Library, making books accessible to students and families while fostering a love for reading.

What We Stand For

We are committed to giving back and lifting up others through service, advocacy, and mentorship.
